I was very young. Probably age 8-9. Because of my father I ended up being introduced to Tony Robbins at a very young age. I don't remember which book or audio program it was but I do remember being struck by an inner knowing.

Leadership in transformation called to me like a lightning rod.

And ever since I've been on a roundabout adventure unfolding that calling . . .

I grew up in a small town with a big dream of attending Stanford University. This dream shaped the daily existence of my being during my formative years.

I did NOT get into Stanford on the first try.

Nope. I got wait-listed and they only let in a few people from the wait-list.

I was devastated. It was my first major setback in life. And my first experience with depression.

I had based my entire existence for numerous years from the guiding question, "Will this help or hinder my acceptance into Stanford University?"

Ultimately, the experiencs was one of my life's great opportunities for transformation.

I was close to giving up and settling for a life where dreams did not come true . . .

But one of my Guardian Angels spoke to me through my Mother and said:

You can let this break you or you can let it make you. The choice is yours.

This statement of truth hit me like a silver bullet.

I awoke.

I chose to have the experience make me.

And in that moment a Life Alchemist was born . . .

Like many people I've been through a lot of darkness in my life including:

  • abuse (physical, mental, emotional & sexual)
  • depression (suicidal)
  • addiction (alcohol, drugs & food)
  • eating disorders
  • body image issues
  • massive career changes
  • financial setbacks
  • and more . . .

I mine my own darkness for gold and I share it with others.

I've been to the abyss and back few times and even when I am afraid I now choose to share my vulnerability and my experiences.

I think this makes me especially gifted as a coach.

I love teaching & coaching in all areas of life -- executive leadership, entrepreneurship, powerful lifestyle habits, business success, money & personal finance, fashion & style, fitness, nutrition, healthy living, body image, addiction recovery, family, relationships & more.

If any of this resonates with you stay tuned to my channel because this is only the beginning . . .

P.S. I did get into Stanford on the second try. Only to drop out with only two quarters to go. I fell deep into a Hollywood Nightlife career where things got real dark. It took me another 7 years to come back to Stanford, complete my degree & graduate. This was another one of my alchemical opportunities that has turned out to be one of my greatest sources of strength. Darkness into gold. Life Alchemist.
